We settle on a finishing technique that normally entails a time- and labor-intensive multi-coat application of a combination of natural plant oils which deepens and extends grain and colour. The time we take in completing each piece varies from one to two months or more, depending on the size and species of wood.
For maintenance for our natural oil treatment we suggest every six to twelve months, depending on usage, the surface can be rubbed lightly with a mild abrasive. We recommend wire wool (000 Grade) or 500 grit sandpaper. Then apply a thin coat of furniture oil with a soft cloth, being careful to keep the application even.
